Spring break is already half over (GONE LIKE THE WIND, THE WIND) and I've done absolutely nothing. What happened to all the promises you made, self? What. happened.

I have been replaying Tales of Symphonia though, and while it's not exactly productive or conducive to anything, it does make me happy. Zelos joined my party yesterday and man, he is so sleazy. SO SLEAZY. I love making him my avatar because his personal is the greatest ever-- every girl he talks to gives him a gift! It's like I never have to buy restorative items again! What a womanizer.

I almost feel bad killing him just so Kratos will rejoin my party. Sorry, Zelos. You're not a bad guy, but. I want my 4000 year old mutant angel. 8(

I wanted to buy Persona 4 over the break but I said to myself, I said, "Self, no." So I didn't. See, I am getting better at this self-control business.

I made a checklist last night and throughout the course of the day, today, Sunday, I actually checked off two of the items. HUZZAH. After translating some Virgil, I will have done everything I need to do for tomorrow. The rest I will sob and flail about later in the week. All in due time!

Apparently we are due for 5-10 inches of snow tonight. HERE'S HOPING, FINGERS CROSSED. SNOW DAY SNOW DAY SNOW DAY !!!

I am eating so much brie, I don't even want to think about the ramifications it must have for my health. Perhaps I should have some ramen (staple of the college diet!) to go with it-- CULTURAL FUUUUUSION.

If I think about it, I have a lot of work. If I really, really think about it, I don't actually have that much, read: me deluding myself into thinking I have time to huddle under my blankets and play my DS. WHAT.

I would do a checklist, but that would just be discouraging.

This plus account is a little overwhelming. So much icon space, what to do with it all! So I finally added a Hibari icon. I can't believe I didn't have a Hibari icon-- but I need space for Dino now. DAMN IT ALL. It's so harrowing, actually caring about this stuff. I even opened up Photoshop for the first time in ages to make this Slumdog Millionaire icon. Four layers, three different colors, varying blending options and opacity. It sounds more complicated than it really is. And the difference it makes?



Hah.

Anyway, to give this post some legitimacy--

What can I say. 1 AM makes you feel this way.

Um. BACK FROM CHINA. I know my travel blog sort of withered away and died towards the end (actually, not even the end, more like the middle of the trip), but I assure you that I did not wither away and die. I am home safe, back on US soil, and already wanting to go back. It was really very awesome, and I have to get around to telling you all exactly how awesome it was. Soon.

Been all sorts of busy since getting back, and spring semester starts on Monday. It comes too quickly! This semester will be ten times as brutal as the last. Why don't I ever learn? Oh well. Overloading myself is the only way I will get anything done. It sounds contradictory, but that is how it is. NEVER BE STAGNANT, MY FRIENDS.

Of course, all this stress requires some sort of stress reliever, and I think I will find relief in vegging out in front of my laptop, watching movies. I joined Netflix, because why the heck not, and I anticipate many cinematic adventures this year, right in the comfort of my own room. Not that I really have any time for movies, between 19 credits and a job and volunteer work, but! There is always an abundance of hours between 12 and 5 am anyway, amirite? IMRITE.

So, Chinese New Years is coming up, which means family family family. I guess I am lucky that I am fond of my extended family. I'll be seeing a whole lot of them this weekend.

Oh, Obama's Inauguration (!!!). I actually missed it because a) I was in China, b) when it broadcast, it was 1 in the morning, and c) I was awake, but I was out playing pool. But I did watch it on CNN.com, and I know-- I know one man can't fix everything, and I know expectations for him are too high, and I know that you have to be realistic if you don't want to be hurt, but I just. I'm happy, when I think of him. It's cheesy and sappy, but I'm so glad that he exists. It means a lot.

Things to do. I better get to them. Step to it!
